Terms of Service
Last updated: 2026. This is a starting template that the operating organization should review and tailor before public use.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using ActivityHub (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. The Service
ActivityHub helps organizations publish volunteer opportunities, manage members, and record and confirm volunteer service hours (including for programs such as the President’s Volunteer Service Award). The Service is provided on an “as is” basis and may change over time.
3. Accounts & eligibility
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. Volunteers under the age of majority should use the Service with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or program administrator as required by their organization.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by submitting false service records, accessing data you are not authorized to see, attempting to disrupt the Service, or violating any applicable law or your organization’s policies. Service hours are subject to review and confirmation by organization administrators.
5. Organizations & administrators
Your organization’s administrators can view and manage your membership, service records, and related information within the organization. Records are retained for auditing and award purposes; removing a member deactivates the account while preserving history.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of the information you submit. You grant your organization and the Service the right to store and process that information to operate the Service and produce reports and awards.
7. Disclaimers & liability
The Service does not guarantee eligibility for any external award; award decisions rest with the certifying body. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties and the operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
9. Contact
Questions about these Terms should be directed to your organization’s program administrator.
